Well hey there!

My name’s Regan. I am a stay at home mom and freelance fine artist (starving artist, if you will). I live in Lansing, Ks with my Fiance Jason and our two boys. I have recently started on a journey to empower myself and I hope to inspire others to do the same through encouraging posts about self-improvement, reaching your goals and just striving for a happier more enjoyable life!

  1. Hey, I’m Casey! I’ve been married for 11 years, and I am a lover of Jesus. I’m a mama of six. I just started new medication and therapy at The Guidance Center. My youngest daughter is 7 weeks old, and I have a serious bout of postpartum depression/anxiety. It’s been an issue with each baby. This time around, I decided to seek help from a place other than my midwife/OB office- The Guidance Center. I have been diagnosed with bipolar depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mild ADD. It’s still rather painful to use those particular words to describe myself, because there are so many other words I’d rather use that sound more loving, but I am also happy with such a diagnosis because I’ve only been on the new medication for two weeks or so and I already see an improvement in myself. Thank you, God!

I love sharing my heart with anyone who needs to hear it. I’m not always good at giving advice, but I try to be a good listener, and I am definitely a good prayer. It’s kinda my thing. 😉

    1. Thanks for the comment Casey! Thank you for sharing some of your own story too. I completely understand not wanting to describe yourself that way, it’s hard. Especially when there are SO many other “nicer” things you would rather say about yourself. I think it is so brave when women (post-partum) can be honest and seek help. I have been through it after both of my pregnancies and what I remember being the worst part was feeling like I was the only one who felt the way I did and I was embarrassed. It should never be embarrassing though and I commend you for speaking up!! What a GREAT mom!!! You are doing what you need to do for yourself and for your babies so that they can have a working and loving version of you. God bless you girl!

    1. Yes! Everyone does! And….we need to talk about them so we don’t explode…or implode…whichever applies. 🙂
